The Study on the Framework of the Aizone Common Group Programs

Abstract
|
|
|
Objective：This study is performed to establish a standard service program of Aizone for the children with emotional and behavioral problems and from low-income families due to the expansion of Aizone, the mental health care institution in Seoul.
Methods : The study 1 chooses the social competence program(peer relational skill training), emotional and psychological competence program(increase of self-esteem and anger management training), and the group parental education program from the group program for children.; then, it compares the experimental group participating in each program and the control group in waiting to find out the significant differences. The study 2 performs the common group program in 4 Aizones including the other 3 Aizones after determining the common group program for Aizone based on the result from the effectiveness verification of Aizone program in Songpa.
Results : As a result, there are significant results from the group programs for children and parents in all Aizones.
Conclusion : Based on this result, this study is considered to contribute to the establishment of foundation for group programs common in Aizones. It is necessary to constantly develop the enriched programs fit for the characteristics of children using the zone, and to maintain the quality and diversity of service program by the studies on effectiveness verification for the continuous development of Aizone.
